Business Development Officer | Littleton
Are you an experienced banking professional with a passion for building strong client relationships? Our Littleton team seeks a skilled Business Development Officer to join our team and play a pivotal role in expanding our portfolio.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist in conducting market research to identify potential clients and new business opportunities.
- Gather and analyze data on market trends, competitors, and customer needs.
- Support the branch team in reaching out to potential clients.
- Prepare and assist in the delivery of presentations to prospective clients.
- Participate in meetings and follow up on client inquiries under the guidance of senior team members.
- Help promote the bank’s products and services to new and existing clients.
- Assist in developing materials and content for client presentations.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the bank’s products and services.
- Attend networking events and meetings with senior team members to build industry contacts.
- Assist in the achievement of team goals by supporting business development.
- Help track and monitor business development activities and results.
- Ensure that all activities are conducted in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of client interactions and transactions.
Qualifications:
- Strong ethical values and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Must have at least 1-3 years in sales, customer service, relationship management, or a preferably within the financial services sector.
- Basic understanding of banking products and services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet lending targets.
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools, credit scoring models, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with lending regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
Salary Range: $60,000-$80,000
Commercial Loan Officer | Littleton
Are you an experienced professional in banking with a passion for building strong client relationships? Our Littleton team is seeking a Commercial Loan Officer to join our team and play a pivotal role in expanding our portfolio.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Responsible for the growth and retention of a portfolio of new and existing Business Banking clients.
- Attain new customers through referrals therefore contributing to deposit growth by cross selling and promoting additional banking products.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and provide exceptional customer service by addressing their lending requirements and inquiries.
- Identify and pursue new lending opportunities within the target market, working closely with business development teams to expand the client base.
- Leverage industry knowledge and networking to generate leads and referrals, contributing to the growth of the lending portfolio.
- Analyze prospective clients’ financial statements, cash flow, credit history, and collateral to assess creditworthiness and determine appropriate lending structures.
- Develop and present customized lending solutions, including term loans, revolving credit facilities, working capital lines of credit, and other financing options, to meet clients’ unique financial needs.
- Negotiate lending terms and conditions with clients, ensuring alignment between their requirements and the institution’s risk appetite.
- Evaluate and manage credit risk by monitoring clients’ financial performance and market conditions, making proactive recommendations and adjustments as needed.
- Prepare accurate and complete loan documentation, ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements.
- Stay informed about industry trends, economic developments, and market conditions that may impact clients’ businesses, providing valuable insights and advice.
