Meet Amanda at Redstone Bank. Amanda is a Credit Analyst and has worked at Redstone Bank for four years. Amanda grew up in a small town in Newton, Iowa and she moved out to Colorado in 2006 after she graduated from college.
Amanda has worked in banking since 2000 when she worked as a bank teller during the summer and on school breaks in high school and college. As a sophomore in college, she began working in the credit department full-time while completing her college degree. After she moved to Colorado, she worked for larger banking institutions until 2019 when she realized she missed working at a community bank and came to Redstone Bank.
Amanda enjoys her role at Redstone Bank as a credit analyst. In her role, she works as an underwriter. When a lender brings in a loan package, she reviews and analyzes the borrower’s financials, collateral position, and overall project scope. Amanda also loves working with her coworkers. We asked her what the best thing was about working at Redstone, and she replied, “The people!” It’s really that simple. When you have a great team of coworkers, your job no longer seems like work. We’re proud of the culture at Redstone Bank and that the staff truly do treat each other and our customers like family.
Community banks are just that, community. You not only get a teller who can cash your check or make your deposit, but you get a friendly face who asks how your family is doing and how your last trip went. We care about you, it’s more than a transaction, and we want to be more than a banker to our customers.
In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband of nine years, Sam, and their son and their two pets, one cat and an outdoor dog. She also enjoys going off-roading with her family, being outdoors, eating Chinese and sushi, and is currently binge-watching the show, Yellowstone. She dreams of vacationing in Bali in a hut over the ocean, but if she had to pick her favorite place to visit, she loves Moab, Utah because of the great riding and fun atmosphere.
We asked Amanda to describe Redstone Bank in three words. She said, “Personable, Value-oriented, Dependable.” We couldn’t have said it any better.
Amanda goes on to explain why banking with a community bank is special. “Community banks are just that, community. You not only get a teller who can cash your check or make your deposit, but you get a friendly face who asks how your family is doing or how your last trip went. We care about you, it’s more than a transaction, and we want to be more than a banker to our customers.”
And that’s what makes Redstone Bank stand out from the rest.
