Meet Braxton at Redstone Bank. Braxton is the Market President for our Parker location. Braxton has been with the bank for about a year and a half. Braxton is a hometown guy originally from Parker, Colorado, who truly loves the area and the people. Braxton attended Elizabeth High School and then attended and graduated from Colorado State University in Fort Collins.
Braxton has more than 11 years of experience in banking. After graduating from college with a degree in Finance, he joined one of the largest financial institutions in the country before coming back home to work at Redstone Bank. He has experience in everything from managing a local branch to risk management to process efficiency work. In his current role, he primarily focuses on partnering closely with the Parker community, citizens, and businesses to better the community overall by offering local financial solutions.
When asked what the best thing is about being back in Colorado and working at Redstone, Braxton said, “The best thing is the people I get to work with. The staff here at Redstone Bank makes this place what it is.” That’s what Redstone Bank is all about the people; our staff, our clients, and the communities we serve.
“There are so many reasons why people should bank at a community bank like Redstone Bank. The first one that comes to mind though is that we don’t have a 1-800 number. In today’s world, finances are critical to each person’s well-being. At a community bank, you work one-on-one with your banker and always have a person to call directly when you have a question or need to work through something with your finances.”
When Braxton isn’t at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife of seven years, Emily, and their two dogs, Blakely a Goldendoodle, and Emma, a rescue Terrier mutt. He also enjoys playing golf and cheering on the Colorado Avalanche, and his guilty pleasure is occasionally binge watching Below Deck. His favorite destination is any island in Hawaii, his dream vacation is spending a couple of weeks in Europe exploring Italy and Sweden, and when it comes time to retire, he’d like to be on the beach in one of the Carolinas.
We asked Braxton what sets a community bank apart from those other bigger banks. Braxton said, “There are so many reasons why people should bank at a community bank. The first one that comes to mind though is that we don’t have a 1-800 number. In today’s world, finances are critical to each person’s well-being. At a community bank, you work one-on-one with your banker and always have a person to call directly when you have a question or need to work through something with your finances.” When you call Redstone Bank, you’re getting someone you know, someone you can trust.
And if you’re looking for a new bank, choose Redstone. “The best reason to make the switch to Redstone Bank is the people that work here. When you become a client of the bank, you become much more than an account. You become part of our family. We treat all of our clients like family and we are as invested in your success as you are,” said Braxton.
Finally, we asked Braxton what his favorite memory so far is from working at Redstone Bank. Braxton explained, “It’s hard to pick just one memory. I would say it’s not just one memory, but each day brings on great new memories, whether it be joking with a coworker, learning something new, or changing a client’s life.”
Changing a client’s life – now that’s a great memory.
