Meet Ryan at Redstone Bank. Ryan is the President of Redstone Bank and has been with the bank for thirteen years. Ryan spent the first 10 years of his life in Iowa before moving to Parker, Colorado and he still lives in the same neighborhood he grew up in. Ryan graduated college from Northern Colorado College and has dedicated his life to community banking.
As the President of Redstone Bank, Ryan oversees the bank’s daily operations, staff, and overall success. With a branch in Centennial, one in Littleton, and Parker, Ryan’s days are busy. He simply describes his role as “Managing chaos.” But he wouldn’t have it any other way. He likes to stay busy, and he loves working with people.
We asked Ryan to tell us what the best thing is about working at Redstone Bank. His answer came quickly and easily, “The staff.” When you surround yourself with good people and enjoy what you do, you nurture a culture and a positive workplace where everyone “gets” to come to work, instead of “has” to come to work. And you notice that when you come into a Redstone Bank branch, the staff truly enjoy it here.
When Ryan isn’t busy with bank tasks, he enjoys spending time with his family. He’s been married for over 35 years and has three grown children. He describes his life as “Blessed way beyond what I deserve.” He also enjoys golfing, boating, and cheering on the Colorado Rockies, and his favorite destination to visit is Grand Lake, Colorado. And when it comes to retiring, he wants to be wherever his kids are.
“Community banks invest in the communities they serve and in the people that live there. They provide a cornerstone for communities to build from.”
We asked Ryan why he thinks people should choose a community bank for their financial needs. He explains, “Community banks invest in the communities they serve and in the people that live there. They provide a cornerstone for communities to build from.” Community banks are special because they are built on relationships, not just transactions.
Ryan also shared with us his favorite memory of working at Redstone Bank. It may have been a chaotic time, but he fondly remembers, “Our COVID lunches out in the parking lot”. Team bonding at its best.
And if you’re thinking about switching banks or need a new bank to meet your personal or business banking needs, Ryan explains what sets Redstone Bank apart from other banks. “Redstone is banking with a purpose with quality folks who truly enjoy being a part of their customers’ lives.”
Ryan loves Colorado and he loves Redstone Bank. And it shows.
