Pindustry: A Hub of Fun, Community, and Entertainment Excellence

Published December 30, 2024

In the heart of Denver’s Tech Center corridor lies a vibrant venue that redefines entertainment: Pindustry.

Owned and operated by Bob Koontz, Pindustry has become a cornerstone of fun and connection since opening its doors in the summer of 2021, just as the world began emerging from pandemic lockdowns.

A Vision for “Eatertainment”

Pindustry isn’t just a business; it’s an experience. The concept was born from a deep dive into the “eatertainment” and “bartainment” trends sweeping the country. As Koontz recalls, “We saw venues offering singular activities—golf, darts, bowling, ping pong—and thought, ‘What if we brought all of these together under one roof?’”

With this innovative idea, Pindustry was developed, transforming an underutilized building into a dynamic destination. Working closely with the city of Greenwood Village, Koontz and his team played a pivotal role in establishing the Greenwood Entertainment District. Pindustry now serves as an anchor for the area, drawing visitors and spurring local growth.

A Unique Mix of Entertainment and Culinary Delights

What sets Pindustry apart is its sheer variety. From live bands every Friday and Saturday night to bowling, vintage pinball, interactive darts, and even rooftop ice skating and curling on the iconic SkyDeck, there’s truly something for everyone.

And the experience doesn’t stop at games and music. Pindustry’s menu elevates the concept of bar food with craft cocktails, wines, whiskeys, and scratch-made Neapolitan pizzas. “We’re constantly looking for new ways to thrill our guests, whether that’s through entertainment or our elevated food and beverage offerings,” says Koontz.

Building a Community Connection

Pindustry’s motto, “Have Fun, Love Each Other, and Be Human,” underscores its commitment to the community. For Koontz, the most rewarding part of the business is staying deeply connected with local residents.

The venue’s adaptability and customer focus have also contributed to its success. Early on, Koontz realized that food trucks and pizzas alone weren’t enough. Expanding the kitchen allowed for a more extensive menu, which in turn grew Pindustry’s group event and banquet business significantly.

Looking to the Future

With a proven track record as an anchor for entertainment districts, Koontz envisions expanding Pindustry into other markets. “The goal is to bring the Pindustry experience to more communities,” he explains.

The Redstone Bank Partnership

As a thriving local business, Pindustry has found a like-minded partner in Redstone Bank. “Redstone’s staff is incredibly hands-on,” Koontz shares. “They’re real people—not a call center—so it’s easy to get answers and support when we need it.”

For Koontz, the bank’s user-friendly online tools and relationship-based approach make it a standout choice. “It’s relational banking, not just transactional,” he says. When recommending Redstone Bank to fellow business owners, he sums it up: “You get accessibility, support, and a team that genuinely cares.”

A Community Catalyst

As Pindustry continues to grow and innovate, it remains a testament to the power of vision, adaptability, and community connection. Whether enjoying a rooftop game of curling or savoring a craft cocktail, guests leave with more than just great memories—they become part of a movement redefining entertainment in Denver and beyond.
