Dave grew up in State College, PA, but his heart has always been drawn to Colorado. Every summer as a child, he traveled west to fish in the mountains—a tradition that solidified his love for the great outdoors. His family moved frequently when he was a teenager, attending three different high schools before graduating from Central High School in Pueblo, CO. He then continued his education at the University of Southern Colorado, where the best part of his experience was finally settling in one place!
Dave and his wife, Kelly, have built a wonderful life with their three daughters—Morgan, Nina, and Paige. Their home is full of love, energy, and furry companions, including two dogs and two cats.
With an impressive 27-year career in the mortgage industry (starting when he was just 12, as he jokes), Dave has gained extensive experience helping people navigate the home-buying process. Before joining Redstone Bank 15 months ago, he owned his own mortgage company from 2003 to 2011 and most recently spent over five years at a larger bank. His mission at Redstone is simple but powerful as he explains, “I enjoy building long-term relationships by guiding clients toward homeownership.”

Outside of work, Dave enjoys spending time with his pets and preparing his daughters for life’s adventures. He’s a passionate fan of Penn State Wrestling and never misses an episode of Jeopardy! His all-time favorite movie? Groundhog Day—so much so that he can recite his favorite line: Do you ever have déjà vu? Didn’t you just ask me that? A self-proclaimed foodie, Dave’s guilty pleasure is indulging in his favorite food; he’ll take a pizza any day—just hold the anchovies and pineapple! His dream vacation would take him to Egypt, but any mountain town feels like home. When it comes to music, his first concert was Jackson Browne, but his favorite was the Beastie Boys. Dave also lives by the quote, “We accomplish in proportion to what we achieve.”
